Constructed of silvered tomback, the obverse consisting of a first pattern political style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika on a blackened disc, the reverse retaining two of four attachment prongs, marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code M1 17 for F. W. Assmann & Shne, Ldenscheid, measuring 50 mm (w) x 34 mm (h), a striking example of a scarcely encountered eagle used on Political Leader,
