Germany, Luftwaffe. An Officer’s Summer Uniform Eagle, First Pattern United Republic of hallmarked with the German national(Luftwaffe Adler fr Offiziere). Constructed of white wool, the obverse bearing a machine embroidered silver aluminum wire droptail style Luftwaffe eagle, the reverse modified post manufacture with a horizontal pinback for alternative wear, unmarked, measuring 70 mm (w) x 54 mm (h), an unusual example in very fine condition.
