FORGIONE GIULIA, Vaso moonjar (grande), 2025 vasi titled Gaifu kaisei (Fresh Wind"Moonjar" shaped vase made of wild clay handpicked (Castellamonte, Turin), with glaze composed of local pink granite, also handpicked, reduced to a fine powder and mixed with oak and acacia ash, according to the Japanese recipe Nuke. The chromatic structure of the glaze is difficult to define: it generates a variegated effect rich in shades. The impurities of the clay and granite, along with quartz fragments, testify to the origin of the materials.
