Instituted 16 June 1901 by the Provincial Fire Brigade Association of Hannover. (1901 1918 issue). Constructed of silvered bronze, affixed to a backplate with a period original ribbon, the reverse with a barrel hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 54 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), in very fine condition.
