Epimedium Eco Select Rock Garden Plants After 20 years of evaluationWe originally got this plant from collector Ozzie Johnson as E. sutchuenense, but its identity was later determined by Epimedium guru Darrell Probst to be a new unnamed species or natural hybrid. It has been offered by Don Jacobs as E. 'Eco Select', so we are using the only published valid cultivar name. The short stems on this slowly spreading species are composed of green leaves, well mottled with purple in spring, and are adorned in late spring
